I will be joined by Keith Preston, Logos and Florian to discuss the connection between Madness and Mental health on the one hand and technology on the other. I argue that technology creates conditions of acute anomie which lead to outbreaks of madness. For example, the 1st World War and the Russian Revolution in Freudian terms was seen as a result of subconscious forces of madness. As technology separates man from man and man from nature he becomes more and more isolated and his mental health becomes critical and I argue that technology creates the conditions for its own failure by driving people mad.
