ANC’s Gauteng decline — Ekurhuleni region blames service delivery, MK and EFF coalition

The ANC in Gauteng dropped from 50% to 34% in the recent elections. Its Ekurhuleni region blamed the decline on service delivery issues, the MK party effect and the consequences of working with EFF.

🇺🇸🧑‍⚖️ On Monday, US prosecutors laid criminal charges against two individuals, accusing them of soliciting attacks on black, Jewish, LGBTQI+ people and immigrants, in the hopes of inciting a race war. Considering their group was named the “TerrorGram Collective”, having a coherent defence might be challenging.
🇺🇸🏈 Bodycam footage of the traffic stop of Miami Dolphins star wide receiver Tyreek Hill just before his game, showed cops forcing him out of his car and onto the curb. Hill’s team described the incident as “maddening”, with one of the officers already placed on administrative leave.
🦁🗣️ James Earl Jones, the iconic voice behind Darth Vader, and CNN’s introduction, has died aged 93. Aside from Star Wars, his voice also featured in Lion King and many Shakespeare roles.
