It’s hard to consider any battle that starving children are forced to fight to be anything less than a tragedy but after 48 hours of one of the most aggressive IDF raids in twenty years, over 1,100 Israeli gestapo, armed to the teeth with drones and gunships were repelled from the impoverished Jenin Refugee Camp by a ragtag militia comprised almost entirely of pissed off teenagers armed only with guns and bombs made in their cousin’s garage. 13 people died, 4 of them were children, but their playmates delivered an important message worth heeding. The same message that has been delivered by other pissed off teenage renegades from Bogside to Algiers. If you are going to fuck around with kids who have nothing left to lose, you better prepare yourself to lose a lot of bullets because the young and the desperate don’t go down easy. This shit isn’t over. Not by a longshot.
