This is some months old now, but this is a really good overview of Chomsky’s thinking, and this criticisms of U.S. imperialism, neoliberalism, and his case of libertarian socialism.

One thing I would definitely like to see is a serious debate on economics between Chomsky and someone representing the serious right-libertarian and/or an-cap position like Lew Rockwell, Hans Hoppe, Walter Block, Bob Murphy, Tom Woods, Ron Paul, Walter Williams or Thomas Sowell. Leave out the other stuff like foreign policy, the environment, the media, etc and just talk straight economics. I wouldn’t be rooting for either side as much as I’d want to merely observe how it played out. If Chomsky wasn’t up for this, maybe someone like David Graeber would be a viable substitute.
That would be a great debate if it ever happened.
