Gotta admit, I liked Kurtagic’s take on the whole “deniggering” debacle; especially notable is the excerpt from the Irish times he cites which recounts the reactions of Brooklyn blackfolk to this patronizing PC horseshit.
Goad merits a mention too.
I wrote a few words on the “deniggering” in the wake of *that* Mel Gibson phone convo; much of what I said there applies to this latest chapter.
That’s just totally stupid. Banning words because they’re ‘politically incorrect’ in spite of the context. Huckleberry Finn isn’t ideal for making the class read out loud, but it still deserved to be on school reading lists…
