  1. This is insteresting to me, as I’ve always been fascinated by the idea of analyzing politics and social relations using psychology as a lense. The last group to do so was the Frankfurt School, who I’m no fan of, but I think we can do the same thing and use the results for our purposes.

  2. Pareto had the view that the ideological leanings of an individual had as much to do with their psychological makeup as anything else.

  3. I agree with that. I feel that people’s political views tend to be rooted in aesthetic preferences with very little in the way of a rational basis.

  4. Those ‘Ted Bundy saved as many people as he killed’ comments were pretty chilling. I guess blind loyalty to the state is only a few steps away from exonerating serial sex-murderers…
