King Abdullah played his hand perfectly, he just didnt match Trumps energy, which isn’t a fault or flaw. It shows maturity and self governance in the face of being betrayed by having a private meeting turn public. I can imagine Abdullah’s internal reaction being something along the lines of: “Ah. So this is what’s left of your parlor tricks. Doesn’t matter, my stance is unchanged.”
