Tesla’s new Megafactory in Shanghai starts production with rapid build-up

Tesla has officially kicked off production at its new Megafactory in Shanghai! The facility is set to produce the company’s powerful energy-storage batteries, known as Megapacks, at an impressive initial capacity of 10,000 units per year.
