Legendary leftist Noam Chomsky was recently asked by interviewer Marc Lamont Hill to weigh in on the cancellation and condemnation directed at podcaster Joe Rogan. Chomsky downplayed the importance of these censorship calls, saying that instead the nation should be much more concerned with right-wing efforts to ban books and eliminate the teaching of episodes from US history like slavery and genocide of the indigenous population.
