This prosecutor guy is a total idiot. What I don’t get is why the case was assigned to an assistant DA. Usually, the most serious cases are handled by the chief DA or even a special prosecutor, particularly high-profile cases like this one. Apparently, he has only been an assistant DA for six years, and before that, he was in private practice. That’s not a lot of experience as a DA for a case involving multiple murder charges and which is as contentious as this one.

I haven’t paid much attention to this case but what little I’ve seen appears to be pure comedy. A pedo is ironically shot by a minor. A judge calls down a prosecutor for not knowing basic constitutional or case law. A prosecution witness claims on the stand the prosecutor was suborning perjury. The prosecutor doesn’t even know the defendant has family ties to the location where the alleged crime occurred.

My very casual assessment of this case, based on what I’ve seen so far, is that Rittenhouse is a blowhard kid who bit off more than he could chew and now he’s in the hot seat.  The “victims” probably had it coming. The judge appears to be biased for the defense. And the prosecutor is a total moron who is trying to cheat his way to victory.
