What this Blackburn person is saying might be semi-true if the social democrats actually controlled the entire government (think President Bernie with AOC as Speaker). But that’s light years away from where things are now. The neocons at FOX tend to use the social democrats as a whipping boy in order to distract from the fact that the neoliberals who run the Democratic Party are actually on the same side as the neocons on most big issues. The partisan differences are, well, partisan and not substantive.
