    In 1995, I wrote into my Assassination Politics essay https://cryptome.org/ap.htm a statement that I’d heard somewhere:

    “Anarchy is not lack of order. Anarchy is lack of ORDERS”.

    I wish I could have said I invented that idea, but I didn’t. It probably was said by a person I’d met, in person, at any one of a number of libertarian meetings I’d attended in the Portland Oregon or Vancouver Washington areas during the period of 1990-1995. But at that time (1995), and since, I could not remember who said it.
