“In capitalism you live like in a cage. People accepted the myth that man can only make progress out his own strength and that it is only up to him, if he doesn´t manage to live within a centralist state bureaucracy and the capitalist market. They want to make us believe that it is our own fault, if we fail and make mistakes. But fact is that most people’s lives depend on forces over which they have no influence. Anyone who has a job within this system knows that if he loses his job and does not receive money from anywhere else, he basically has to die… This perfidious and absurd system has been hammered into people´s heads since the 19th century and now, over all the countless generations, almost everyone believes it.
They cannot imagine a free life. They can imagine all sorts of science fiction in the future. But not a free life, in which work is free, in which public transport is free, in which water, electricity, medicine, education, food, etc. are free. But historical fact is that all of this existed in Spain from 1936-39 or in Ukraine from 1916-1922. In both examples, anarchist militias had to be founded to defend their freedom against external powers. But within their liberated area, where millions of people lived, everything worked wonderfully; the workers had control over all factories, all industries, everything that modern society needs to survive. Everyone was entitled to food, education, medicine etc. The bureaucracy was reduced to a minimum. The whole state and monetary economy were abolished. Everything continued to be delivered and distributed according to the rules given by the workers; the grocery stores, were redesigned so that the people working there set the rules.
With the disappearance of money and private property – there was of course personal property, such as your house, your belongings, your car, etc. – crime almost completely disappeared. People who still harmed others received help in the form of mutual aid camps while the prisons were abolished. The entire economy was restructured in such a way that all companies were networked collectively through the anarchist unions (CGT) and production and distribution continued without the profit motive. What had to be produced was produced. Even those who did not want to work and instead wanted to become artists were able to develop fully because nobody was forced to make a living. Life was free and it can be free again, but only if these ideas get popular on a mass basis!!
But if the Corona crisis has shown anything, it is that the vast majority of humanity consists of uneducated, gullible and easily manipulated idiots. Unfortunately, you can’t call it anything else. They blindly believe everything that the state and media reports and let themselves be panicked over and over again. 2009 the H1N1, 2016 the Zika virus, today Corona and always the same pattern and the same results. Nothing helps. They want to believe, even if it kills them, instead of educating themselves. Real self-education in history, sociology and economy takes time, but in capitalism, time is money and they all do nothing, then hunting the real god, called money. Therefore, we will probably never experience this anarchy I portrayed above, because the anarchist ideas are not shared enough anymore. This post is intended to share them.” -Anarchy Man
