This pedo/rapist/senile/police statist/bankster flunkie/warmonger is the supposed “lesser evil” our “progressive” friends want us to vote for. Democracy Now On the campaign trail, Joe Biden said Thursday that if elected president, he might increase military spending — even beyond the Pentagon’s current record budget of $738 billion. Biden […]
By Mike Gleason, Money Metals Exchange Over the past month, gold has traded in a range with support around $1,900. Bulls have made a couple unsuccessful attempts to retake and hold above the $2,000 level following the sharp plunge below it on August 11th. But we are likely […]

The Zionist/Sunni alliance strengthens. It’s also interesting how the neoliberals, Never Trumper neocons, and Trumpists all hold to an “Israel First” foreign policy paradigm with the social democrats usually being a bit wishy-washy at best. By Robert Mackey The Intercept Four police departments in parts of Oregon ravaged by wildfires — propelled by high winds across parched land during hot, dry weather in a changing climate — are pleading with the public to stop calling 911 to pass on unfounded rumors that antifascist […]
A couple years ago, I was interviewed by a supposed “post-left” podcast that ridiculed my suggestion that anti-imperialism should be the priority issue of North American anarchists on the grounds that the US empire is the world’s leading mass murderer. At the same time, the hosts of the […]
Well, “capitalist communism” seems to be working for the Chinese. Daily Mail/Zero Hedge There’s no better example of groupthink taking over people’s common sense than $41.7 billion clothing retailer Lululemon, who sells signature yoga pants for $128, holding a seminar on “resisting capitalism”. But, it’s 2020 and so, […]

A friend writes: Every indication points towards this being a fake revolution. First, this revolution *is* televised, and gets favorable press coverage, with the embarrassing parts downplayed or ignored. Then, the corporations get on board, emblazoning the revolutionary slogan on their commodities. Half of the ruling duopoly has […]
A social media poster says of yours truly: This guy is fash. If you look through any of this website, you see that he is constantly attacking the left and praising the right. Anarchist News What kind of anarchist best describes you? If you embrace a label (or labels), what are they and why? I have gone by anarcho-feminist, at least until I was confronted by too many others using the same label to mean something totally different. If no existing […]
By Sureyyya Evren Anarchist Library There is a postanarchist reduction of classical anarchism seen in texts of some key writers on post-anarchism (like Todd May, Saul Newman, Lewis Call or more recently Richard Day).[1] Up until now, this feature of the postanarchist tendency has been criticized by various […]

It’s a term you’ve probably heard a lot. Late Stage Capitalism. People use it to describe the absurdities and wild inequalities of the world today. But what is it exactly, and are we really living in it? And if so, what comes next?
The way this writer describes how each century seems to give rise to a major empire which then expires during the following century is interesting. Since the rise of Western hegemony, it was Portugal, followed by Spain, then Holland, France, England, and now America.
This book is a must-read or anyone who is interested in how the modern American police state developed. This was originally published in the mid-1990s and describes how drug prohibition has been used as a smokescreen for the development of a large and intense as police state as […]
This book is a must-read for anyone who is interested in anti-globalization movements. The most important political question in the 21st century is how do we fight globalization without erecting repeats of 20th-century tyrannies like Communism, Nazism, and Islamism, or merely creating an endless series of chaostic failed […]
Class conflict on the local level.
Derrick Broze actually shows up in this and talks sense to these voting-mongers.
“Please, please, vote for me!”-Donald Trump
So FOX is posing as the antiwar channel now? Except for when the beneficiaries are Israel and Saudi Arabia, of course.
Why would anyone expect any different?
Are Latinos going to be the new “white ethnics?”
A study conducted by the Pew Research Center in 2006. Virtually all research on this topic shows that those who don’t vote are most likely to come from disadvantaged sectors and that they don’t vote because they know there is nothing in it for them. “Liberal democracy” is […]
What I find most interesting about this piece is how it illustrates that the various factions of the “Left” and “Right,” broadly defined, not only have different philosophies and political preferences but different realities as well. In an ideal situation, right-wing vigilantes would provide protection to residential neighborhoods, mom and pop shops, and the general public, while left-wing vigilantes burned down police stations and the lumpenproletariat looted Wal-Mart. But I’ve noticed that many situations tend to be less than ideal.
All of this intra-ruling class intrigue is hilarious. It reminds me of the Medici of the Italian Renaissance era, although the Medici were classier and more stylish.
A heel vs heel match brewing. I have no problem with Portland being a far-left micronation.
Instead of “workers of the world, unite!” it’s “mom’s basement dwellers of the world, unite!”
I would have no problem with Rhode Island being a “progressive” micronation just as I would have no problem with CHAZ being a left-anarchist micronation or rural Pennsylvania being an Amish micronation.
But is the traditional labor union model capable of being replicated in a modern economy where labor is transient and capital is global? We are no longer in a world of company towns with life-long employees of a family-based national bourgeoisie.
Obviously. But are there any politicians who are not mediocre? Maybe a few here and there like Jill Stein, Cynthia McKinney, Ralph Nader, Mike Gravel, Jesse Ventura, Ron Paul, Tulsi Gabbard, Andrew Yang, and others on the margins. But “successful” politicians are mediocrities and scumbags almost to a […]
Have you written your letter to Santa, kids?
My respect for Trump would increase significantly if this story were true, but I suspect it’s probably just neocon/deep state/kept media-generated propaganda. I hope I’m wrong. Trump is a scumbag but the neocons are even bigger scumbags.
