“Yes, It Does”
Even the most committed MAGAs have to go along with this one.

Why not anti-lockdown protests AND anti-police protests? And no about there are dangerous lunatics everywhere: among anti-lockdown protestors and anti-police protestors, and among the anti-protestors, the police, the government, the ruling class.
From what I have seen so far during the uprising there seems to been have both attacks on state and ruling class targets (courthouses, police stations, McDonald’s Target) as well as, regrettably, petite bourgeois and working-class targets.
The ruling class’ lipstick on a pig.
This is 1960s level stuff here.
Sir David Peel fucked up big time. LibCom.Org Excellent text examining the creation of the first police forces, which took place in England and the US in just a few decades in the mid-19th century. And explaining that they were not brought into being to prevent crime or […]
Once again, the Babylon Bee proves to be one of the most reliable news journals. Fuck the Zuck. Techno-oligarch piece of shit. Babylon Bee MENLO PARK, CA—Giving his arms and legs a nice little stretch while reclining in his office chair Tuesday afternoon, Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook, […]
Back in 1990, I did some strike support work with the Greyhound bus drivers’ union when they were on strike. Most of those guys wouldn’t even show up for picket duty. Hopefully, their attitude has changed. Friday evening, bus drivers in New York City and members of TWU […]
Shit, that don’t mean anything. I’ve known white women who were beaten, abducted, tortured, and raped by pigs. What do you see in this pic? This is white privilege being used correctly in Louisville, KY. This is the power of being a woman. A line of Caucasian women […]
By Patrick Jaicomo and Anya Bidwell USA Today On Monday, May 25, Minneapolis police killed George Floyd. While two officers pinned the handcuffed Floyd on a city street, another fended off would-be intervenors, as a fourth knelt on Floyd’s neck until — and well after — he lost […]
NBC News Clashes between police and protesters continued to erupt across the country Saturday as thousands descended on the streets, pleading for justice in the wake of George Floyd‘s death this week in Minneapolis. Curfews have been put in place in many cities including Minneapolis, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, […]
Robert Graham’s compilations of classic anarchist writings are excellent. In May – June 1920 the Makhnovist Insurgent Army in Ukraine was fighting the Czarist counter-revolutionaries and the Bolshevik Red Army, which was seeking to consolidate the burgeoning Bolshevik dictatorship. This is a manifesto issued by the Makhnovists, appealing […]
I would strongly suspect that the protestors are heavily infiltrated by feds and pigs. Caitlin Johnstone seems to agree. By Caitlin Johnstone Ron Paul Institute A video has been circulating of a white man casually smashing the windows of a Minneapolis shop with a hammer during protests against the police […]
This scene resembles one of those science fiction films where astronauts travel to space only to return and find that Planet Earth has been destroyed in an apocalypse.
Last night, crowds gathered outside the White House and clashed with Secret Service members.
“You can’t make this shit up.” -American motto, 2020 Before departing for the SpaceX launch, President Trump spoke about protests across the country, blaming Antifa and ‘far left’ groups, as well as talking about MAGA protesters.
LOL. What a great carnival show America is today. Barr has a history of covering for police state murderers (see “Ruby Ridge“). I’m fine with sicking the Antifa on him. Heel vs. Heel. Attorney General Bill Barr held a news conference on Saturday blasting far left groups “hijacking” […]
Vince has the perfect comeback to the “he shouldn’t have broken the law” dumbasses. “Why the protesting and rioting? Because until now the police have held a special position in our society as a protected class. They could lie, cheat, steal, break the law and murder civilians and […]
It just keeps on getting better. By Laura Italiano Market Watch President Trump taunted CNN as the network’s Atlanta headquarters was attacked by rioters, retweeting a supporter who noted what she called the “irony” of the violence. Trump retweeted conservative supporter “Melissa A.,” who snarked that the network […]
Just think of it as a “stimulus” or a “bailout,” applied on the grassroots level by the “base,” and using direct action (kind of like a “kill list”) while bypassing the legislative process (kind of like an executive order, administrative law, or case law). “How’s this for an […]
Once again, Trump presents the state as it ought to be presented (i.e. as a glorified mafia that’s just about power and violence) which is why “liberals” don’t like him. MSNBC liberals actually support most of his policies. If anything, they think he’s not warmongering or authoritarian enough. […]
I have generally found The Onion, Hard Times, and Babylon Bee to be the most accurate and reliable news sources. Current events represent an advancement for inclusion and progress, and a step forward toward a more equitable society, based on the principles of equal opportunity, where rich and […]
By Brett McCabe The Hard Times MINNEAPOLIS — Rioters protesting the unlawful killing of another unarmed black man at the hands of police officers successfully burned Minneapolis’ Third Precinct police station to the ground, tragically leaving nearly 20,000 more stations standing. “We see this as a step in […]
By Anon Anarchist News When I arrived in the afternoon at 3rd precinct the vibe was jovial as thousands of people chilled around a burning car campfire in the bombed out Target mini-mall. With the backdrop of a waterfall pouring out of the charred skeleton of a massive […]

I guess the drone wars in Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Yemen have been a test market for domestic drone wars. By Jason Koebler, Joseph Cox, and Jordan Pearson Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is flying a Predator drone, military technology used for surveilling and killing terrorists abroad, over Minneapolis […]
Retail and fast-food workers are some of the most poorly treated workers in the US service industries. Some years ago, a worldwide social science research project was conducted that showed McDonald’s “Golden Arches” were the most recognized symbol globally, even more so than the Christian cross or the […]
I’ve noticed that both Blue Tribe and Red Tribe loyalists are often the first to attack protestors on “the other side.” Folks who vociferously condemned the Rodney King riots in 1992 were supporting the militia movement a few years later. Folks who cheered the Waco and Ruby Ridge […]
I imagine a lot of government officials are missing the anti-lockdown protestors at this point. Defying shelter-in-place orders has been taken to a new level. By Arelis R. Hernández, J. Freedom du Lac, Katie Mettler and Meryl Kornfield Washington Post Protests raged across America on Friday on a […]
I know and like Derrick and Will. They both do very good work in their respective domains though, as I suspected, the Minneapolis situation appears to be driving a deeper wedge between anti-capitalist and proprietarian anarchists. I’m generally okay with looting Target, but I’m also generally okay with […]
I generally agree with this on an abstract level though I have generally found it best to assess police officers and/or claims of police brutality on an individual or situational basis. It’s possible for a cop to become an ex-cop, and for an ex-cop to criticize many cop […]
I actually know quite a few people with conservative/right-wing or centrist/liberal views who think what was done to George Floyd was terrible. Fighting the state should be about reaching as wide an audience as possible (i.e. winning the Gramscian war of ideas) not pigeonholing people based on broad […]
Why not loot stores AND carry guns? Why not have anti-lockdown protests AND rent strikes? Why not have anti-police protests AND pro-2nd Amendment protests? Why not recognize everyone’s right to disagree with any of this? Once again, it’s not either/or.
Editor-At-Large of Jacobin Magazine David Sirota discusses economics, crime and punishment surrounding Minneapolis protests and indicts the stimulus bills as a catalyst.
I have noticed that the Blue Tribe and Red Tribe increasingly accuse each other of election fraud. They’re both probably right. Eventually, it will get to the point that the losing side in an election automatically assumes their opponents cheated, which will undermine the perceived legitimacy of the […]
Krystal Ball blasts Amy Klobuchar for her failure to prosecute two of the officers involved in the killing of George Floyd, who were reviewed for use of force during her tenure as County Attorney.
A somewhat interesting discussion of culture war politics from some left-leaning atheist folks. The more interesting parts start about 44 minutes into the discussion. Two questions that I am sometimes asked are what would my ideal version of an anarchist society actually look like, my endorsement of pluralism […]
A somewhat amusing reference to your truly from a tweet on Goofy Gillis’ Twitter feed. The reason this “Drunk Foxx” person cannot “wrap their head” around my various positions is that they cannot understand the concept or practice of multi-dimensional thinking. How can I be sympathetic to both […]
A German teenager runs afoul of the new blasphemy laws. I consider the tribal civil war between the Red Tribe and Blue Tribe to a low-intensity variation of the traditional Catholic/Protestant conflicts in Europe during the early modern period or the Sunni/Shia conflict in the Middle East today. Decentralization and direct action win again. They knew what they needed and they did it, telling the feds and the dumb bitch governor of South Dakota to go fuck themselves in the process. The money quote: “Having no faith in the American system has saved us,” Bald Eagle […]
It seems like the sensible thing to do would have been to simply quarantine vulnerable populations, and providing them with massive amounts of assistance, rather than shutting the entire world down.
