J&J SETTLES Opioid Case For MILLIONS, Is It Enough?

It’s interesting how the “war on drugs” is now starting to resemble the “war on tobacco” now that totalitarian humanism has become hegemonic and the therapeutic state model is becoming even more entrenched. As Thomas Szasz pointed out in “Ceremonial Chemistry,” the Anslinger/Nixon/Reagan/Bush version of the drug war was quasi-theocratic in nature (attacking heretics and sinners). Now,  under a totalitarian humanist regime, the drug war is beginning to assume a therapeutic rather than theocratic character.
