Ahead of Donald Trump’s inauguration on Monday, former US security adviser John Bolton gives his predictions about the next four years. The inauguration will take place in Washington DC, with the day commencing at 8.15am EST. Trump’s Vice-President, JD Vance, will be sworn in first before Trump himself takes the oath. He will then give his inaugural address. The key difference this year is that the swearing in will be moved inside the Capitol, rather than taking place outside on the steps. The parade afterwards will be transferred to the Capital One sports arena rather than taking place on Pennsylvania Avenue, as is traditional.
