| On July 4, 2025, a group of anti-ICE activists staged a protest outside the Prairieland ICE Detention Center in Alvarado, Texas.
Those activists are now facing prison sentences of 50+ years after being accused of a bogus “antifa” domestic terrorist conspiracy by the Trump administration.
These are the very first convictions under NSPM-7, Trump’s presidential directive targeting left-wing activists as domestic terrorists.1 But the Justice Department says they’re just getting started — and Trump is demanding a major funding increase for NSPM-7 enforcement to dramatically expand his crackdown on political dissent.2
We’ve mobilized tens of thousands of people to demand Congress defund NSPM-7, and we’re counting on your support to ramp up our efforts.

We’re already seeing additional prosecutions following the same NSPM-7 playbook the Trump administration used in the Prairieland case.
The New York Times just uncovered a sprawling, previously undisclosed NSPM-7 investigation of nonprofit organizations and activists in Minneapolis following the January murder of Alex Pretti and Renee Good by federal immigration agents. So far, 15 people in Minnesota have been indicted, and additional charges could be filed at any moment.3
There’s virtually no limit to who could be threatened by NSPM-7, which defines a sweeping range of common political views as indications of “domestic terrorism,” including “anti-capitalism,” “anti-Christianity,” and “anti-Americanism.”4
This is one of the most dangerous attacks on free speech that we’ve ever faced, but we refuse to back down.

Thanks for taking action,
