A Mother’s Day Blessing from Bishop Barron

Dear Friend,

On Mother’s Day, we honor all mothers: natural mothers, stepmothers, adoptive mothers, godmothers, and all who take on a motherly role in someone’s life. We thank them for their many gifts to us, and for serving as a reminder of God’s love. And we pray that they may follow the example of Mary, our mother in heaven, in their humble and sacrificial love for those in their care.
