Can’t Get a House? Thank a Migrant

Good morning,

Housing prices are way up. Many Gen Z and Millennials find homeownership may be more of a pipe dream than a prospect. Josiah Lippincott writes in American Greatness that there are two ways to bring down housing prices. We could increase the supply, which is complex and costly, or we could reduce demand by reducing the number of illegal immigrants in this country. Biden has let in 8 million immigrants since 2021, which equates to a 7% increase in the population. Heritage Americans now have to compete with foreigners to own a home in the country they were born in. If we want to reduce housing prices, we need to deport the illegal immigrants in this country, remove incentives for more to come, and close the border.
