1. A few years ago (5, 6, 7, 8), I observed that “diverse” USED TO MEAN: “Everybody, including white people”.

   Gradually, however, it came to mean, “Everybody EXCEPT white people”.

   I think the latter, eventual definition is highly improper, and hopelessly “PC”.
