  2. Russell seems entirely lucid here. So why did he support causes that would result in totalitarianism if successful?

    • It doesn’t seem clear by the quote that he would want it to happen, but because he was a member of the Fabian Socialist Society (a wolf in sheep’s clothing) he at least knew about the plan…
