Oren Cass Exposes Lincoln Project’s Real Aim, Expresses Hope For Working Class GOP Future

The Republicans are going to have just as much trouble co-opting the class issues as the neoliberals and SJWs. There is no way the interests of the right-wing of the ruling class can be reconciled with those of the working class, much less the homeless and unemployed, on any significant level. The Republicans are and always have been a business party. The difference between the Democrats and the Republicans is that Republicans tend to be the party of business at every level (from smaller and medium-sized capitalists to Big Oil and agribusiness) while the Democrats tend to favor big business over smaller businesses, such as Big Pharma, Wall Street, Big Banking, and the Tech-oligarchy, along with the public sector, the labor aristocracy, and the professional-managerial class.
