1. I’d say that Reagan was the new FDR. Both of them ran on platforms of massive cuts to the federal government and balancing of that government’s budget, and both of them did exactly the opposite once elected.

   If anything, Biden’s a little more honest than either of them as to his intentions.

   When he can remember those intentions, that is.

   • Yeah, FDR and Reagan symbolize two different paradigm shifts. FDR toward the “managerial revolution” and Reagan toward what might be called “military Keynesianism.”
