Susan Rice for VP and Samantha Power for Secretary of State? It figures.
Susan Rice for VP and Samantha Power for Secretary of State? It figures.
One of the funniest headlines I’ve seen in a while.
Trump has the liabilities of presiding over Spanish Flu Two, Great Depression Two, 1968 Two, and, most of all, merely being Trump. Now he’s trailing a dementia patient whose party keeps him hidden away in a basement somewhere. Trump is even slipping among the religious right.
Krystal and Saagar compare and contrast recent polls from Real Clear Politics, CNN, and Reuters that all show Biden widening his lead as the front runner.
If Trump is the Nixon of our time, and Sanders is the McGovern, then Biden is the Hubert Humphrey.

Joe Biden on Monday suggested that police forces could train officers to shoot attackers in the legs in order to reduce potential fatalities.
There is “the idea that instead of standing there and teaching a cop when there’s an unarmed person, coming at him with a knife or something, to shoot him in the leg instead of in the heart,” Biden said. “There’s a lot of different things [policies] that can change.”
Biden made his remarks while meeting with African American community leaders at the Bethel AME Church in Wilmington, Del. The former vice president was discussing the widespread protests touched off by the killing of George Floyd, an African American man, at the hands of white police officers in Minneapolis, Minn.
Protests have spread from Minneapolis to major U.S. cities including New York, Chicago, Washington D.C., and Los Angeles. The demonstrations have been widely varied in makeup, with some instances of peaceful protests and others that have devolved into riots with widespread looting.
Members of Biden’s staff have donated to groups attempting to free jailed rioters on bail. Campaign spokesman Andrew Bates told Reuters that Biden opposes cash bail as the equivalent of a “modern day debtors prison.” It was not clear whether the donations were coordinated by the campaign or made individually.
Biden has really given FAUX News a lot of ammunition with which to work Dinesh D’souza’s “Democrats are the real racists!” angle.
The Democrats would be in a much better position if they would simply euthanize this guy, stuff him like Lenin, and make a ventriloquist dummy out of him while hiring a voice impersonator to record his speeches for him.
And, Democrats, don’t this guy anywhere near a debate stage.
This dude is as narcissistic as Trump which is quite an accomplishment.
Krystal and Saagar discuss Charlamagne Tha God’s interview with Joy Reid, saying that we should not place the burden on black voters to show up for Joe Biden, but put the burden on Biden to show up for black voters.
Don’t give him any ideas. Krystal’s commentary in this is pretty good. She talks about how Team Blue and Team Red have come to literally regard each other as existential enemies.
This is the “Flight 93 Election” article from the Claremont Review of Books they are referring to.
Krystal Ball slams The Nation’s Katha Pollitt for writing she would, “vote for Joe Biden if he boiled babies and ate them,” given the importance of ending President Trump’s White House tenure.
This is like a parody of Dinesh D’souza’s “Democrats are the real racists” agitprop.
Krystal and Saagar discuss Joe Biden’s interview on the Breakfast Club with Charlamagne tha god where Biden says, “If you got a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or for Trump then you ain’t Black.”
President Biden would be more like President Reagan, i.e. a senile old fool that sleeps through most of his presidency.
No issue with that, Joe.
Krystal and Saagar watch Joe Biden’s MSNBC interview where he states, “If you believe Tara Reade you probably shouldn’t vote for me.”
The neocons, led by Bill Kristol, are using the Biden campaign to colonize the Democrats, while Trump has an 80% approval rating among the Republicans. If the neocons are successful at this, it means the US will have a neocon party and a faux-populist right-wing plutocratic party. Imagine if the two major parties in the US were Israel’s Likud Party and El Salvador’s ARENA, which the former lurching leftward on social questions and the latter appropriating LenPenist rhetoric, and you get an idea of what US politics would look like.
It’s pretty sad that both this year’s election and the 2016 election amounted to putting a credibly-accused rapist or sexual assaulter in the White House, whether Joe Biden, Donald Trump, or what would have been the return of Bill Clinton as First Husband.
Who shall be the Pussy-Grabber-In-Chief? Bill Maher goes to bat for Dementia Man.
Krystal and Saagar discuss Bill Maher’s rant about Tara Reade’s accusations, as he asks, “Why wait until Biden is our only hope against Trump?”
Vote for Dementia Man over Orange Man, says Obomber.
Krystal and Saagar listen to former President Obama’s leaked call saying that ‘rule of law is at risk’ in Michael Flynn case. In the same chat, Obama also lashed out at the Trump administration’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic as “an absolute chaotic disaster.”

Good morning dearest motherfuckers, it is spring time in this the plague besotted year of our lord Satan, twenty-hundred-and-twenty, and both major party candidates for the highest office of the greatest democracy imperialism can buy are confirmed geriatric sexual predators. There exists no other way to describe the painfully hilarious absurdity of our nation’s ascent into the stinky rafters of its own proverbial asshole. Webster, Oxford, Gore Vidal, and a childhood of blaxploitation cinema have failed to develop in me a drag queen’s tongue sharp enough to sum up this nation’s plight in the heat of the Kali Yuga better than the simple, painful, basic fact that our most cherished plutocratic ritual has been quite literally rendered to a game of Pick-Your-Favorite-Rapist. After centuries of the finest and most flowery propaganda that genocide can afford. After decades upon decades of shining cities on the hill and America, the indispensable nation, the exceptional hammer of global humanitarian benevolence, Trump vs Biden is the punch line to the sickest joke the devil ever wrote.
The battle for the title of Pussy Grabber-in-Chief rolls on.
Jess Scarane is campaigning for Joe Biden’s old Senate seat with a striking message for a Delaware Democrat: She believes his accuser, Tara Reade.
Scarane, who said she is a victim of sexual assault, tweeted in March that when she listened to Reade talk about her claims, “the assault I experienced as a teen at my first job came rushing back. She was telling my story, too. Almost word for word.” She has called on Chris Coons, the incumbent she is trying to oust and a top Biden ally, to support an investigation.
“I debated sending the tweet that I first did, probably for hours,” she told POLITICO. “Because I was not only exposing my own story, but I think there’s still a lot of fear and potential ramifications by just saying this deserves to be taken seriously.”
Saagar Enjeti explains how the Biden campaign plans to target the suburban vote through “Facebook empathy moms,” virtually ignoring the youth vote, Latino vote, and black vote; blasts George W. Bush for posting a video that calls for unity.
Krystal and Saagar discuss a Morning Consult poll that shows 61% of voters say they do not want to select a different Democratic nominee after Joe Biden’s denial of Tara Reade’s allegation, while 26% say the party should select a different nominee, and 13% are undecided.
It’s somewhat amusing that the presidential campaign has essentially become a contest over who is going to be the “Rapist-In-Chief.” At least the state is being exposed for what it is.
Krystal and Saagar discuss Washington Post, NYT articles that push Joe Biden to address the Tara Reade allegations himself, and look at a Daily Beast report that details women’s groups and prominent feminist figures’ universal silence over the sexual assault allegations. Discuss Vice President hopeful Stacey Abrams comments corroborating Biden based on, “NYT thorough investigation,” despite the Times making edits at Biden’s request on his past inappropriate behavior with women and girls.
