Reblogged this on oogenhand and commented:
Well, some varieties do.
If there’s something the good ‘ol Keith Preston should read ASAP is this hypothesis by two well known and respected evolutionary anthropologists:
“The Roman State and Genetic Pacification”

If they’re right the implications, for statists and anarchists alike, are, well, mind-blowing. Say good bye to the admiration for the State’s monopoly on violence some right-statists and liberal-interventionists show. Say good bye to the anarcho-liberal fantasies of perfectly peaceful stateless societies. It will piss off right-christians and left-christians and pagans of the hippie-like variety alike too, for opposite reasons. It’s, well, explosive.
