Probably waisting my breath here but this was predicted in 1999 at the Council of Europe including the little debacle in Azerbaijan.
Biden has been consistent on this issue. He says he’ll support Taiwan while WH maintains the position that the US isn’t obligated to protect Taiwan. Every time this issue is raised Biden will say the US will join Taiwan as an ally while the WH will maintain ambiguity.
