Villages wiped out in Nepal. Hospitals cut off.

Dear Friend of The Nation,Nepal is facing one of the worst disasters in its recent history. On Wednesday, floodwaters and mudslides swept through the country’s north, wiping out entire communities in minutes. Bridges collapsed. Roads disappeared. Two hospitals in the hardest hit areas can no longer be reached by road, right when they’re needed most.

Humanity & Inclusion is already on the ground, and we’re asking for your help to reach more people, faster.

For nearly three decades, HI has worked in Nepal, including a major response after the devastating 2015 earthquake. That track record is why Nepal’s Department of Health asked HI directly to help with this response.

  • Send an emergency rehabilitation team to support overwhelmed hospitals
  • Distribute mobility aids, like wheelchairs, crutches, and canes, to injured survivors
