| Netanyahu Officially Joins ‘Board of Peace’ During US Visit as His Forces Continue Killing Palestinians in Gaza |
| Dave DeCamp | February 11th
According to Israeli media, Israel is drawing up plans for a renewed offensive to disarm Hamas that would be more intense than previous Israeli bombardments |
| Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday officially joined President Trump’s so-called “Board of Peace,” which is meant to oversee a ceasefire deal in Gaza despite the IDF’s constant violations of the truce and daily killing of Palestinians in the Strip.
Netanyahu signed a document to join the board during a meeting with Secretary of State Marco Rubio before his talks with President Trump.
“Ahead of my meeting at the White House with President Trump, I signed Israel’s accession as a member of ‘Board of Peace,'” Netanyahu wrote on X. “We will continue strengthening the unbreakable alliance between Israel and the United States.”
Also on Wednesday, Gaza’s Health Ministry said that Israeli forces killed at least five Palestinians over the previous 24-hour period, bringing the death toll since the ceasefire deal was signed in early October to 591. More Israeli attacks were reported in Gaza, including gunfire that wounded several Palestinians, including a child, in the Zeitoun neighborhood of Gaza City, according to Al Jazeera.
The Trump administration’s declaration of the “second phase” of the so-called ceasefire and the formation of the Board of Peace have done nothing to slow Israel’s attacks or address the continued Israeli occupation of more than 50% of Gaza. Netanyahu’s government appears eager to restart the full-scale genocidal campaign, as Israeli media have reported that it has drawn up plans for a renewed offensive to forcibly disarm Hamas. |

| 1953 Redux – Neocons Want To Saddle Iran With the Son of the Persian Stalin |
| It’s getting a little old at this point, but as the Deep State log rolls for another U.S. attack on Iran, it is promoting a new Iranian national savior, one with a familiar name.
Here’s a graphic seen on X, much like others showing up on social media, championing Reza Pahlavi as “the legitimate national leader of Iran.”
Because Pahlavi calls for more U.S. intervention in Iran including airstrikes, his champions are a midnight choir of failed voices from prior regime change calamities: Richard Perle, Michael Ledeen, James Woolsey. He is featured frequently in the warmongering of the Empire’s lapdog press, in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and on Fox News.
Pahlavi’s only claim to legitimacy is that he is the son of the late-Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi who was driven from Iran in the 1979 revolution.
So here we go again. Another “enlightened” leader courtesy of the Deep State. The same machinations are at work that installed al Sharaa, the terrorist head chopper formerly known as Julani, as the president of Syria. It is already slipping down the memory hole that until recently al Sharaa carried a $10 million dollar US bounty on his head. He was a State Department “Specially Designated Global Terrorist.” But now the new president of Syria, having been sanitized and empowered by the Deep State, is feted by Trump in the Oval Office.
Don’t forget the execrable bank embezzler Ahmed Chalabi, the man the neocons wanted to head Iraq after that regime change. Chalabi’s group received a reported $100 million from the CIA as he helped lie the American people into the Iraq war. |

| Member of Trump’s ‘Religious Liberty Commission’ Removed After Questioning Claim That Anti-Zionism Is Antisemitic |
| A member of the Trump administration’s “Commission on Religious Liberty” has been removed after a hearing turned contentious over her objection to the idea that anti-Zionism is antisemitism.
Carrie Prejean Boller, a Catholic conservative activist and model, took issue with the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance’s (IHRA) definition of antisemitism, which has been embraced by the Trump administration’s Department of Justice and conflates criticism of the modern state of Israel with antisemitism.
“Undoubtedly, anti-Zionism is antisemitism,” Rabbi Ari Berman, president of Yeshiva University in New York, told Boller during one exchange. Boller then pointed to her Catholic faith, which does not affirm the idea that the Jewish people have a divine right to historic Palestine. |

| Trump Should Revive the JCPOA To Prevent War With Iran |
| When Donald Trump was inaugurated for his second term as President of the United States, he famously declared that his “proudest legacy will be that of a peacemaker.” However, US involvement in the Middle East has only grown with the President previously authorizing strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities, officially entering the short-lived Twelve-Day War with Iran on behalf of Israel. Now, amidst new protests in Iran, Trump has openly called for regime change and has signaled that he is willing to use military force to this end.
As negotiations conclude in Oman, the Trump administration must consider that a hypothetical war would be politically disastrous with 85% of Americans saying they don’t want to be at war with Iran. If Trump wishes to improve his 39% approval rating and prevent a potentially catastrophic regional war, it might be time to return to a time-tested framework that is capable of containing Iran’s nuclear program and reducing the risk of war. By reviving the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), Trump would signal to the American people and the international community that he is worthy of his self-proclaimed title: “the President of Peace.” |

| Russia’s Lavrov Says US No Longer Wants To Pursue Its Own Ukraine Peace Proposal |
| Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov said in an interview published on Monday that the US no longer wants to implement a Ukraine peace deal that it previously proposed, the latest sign that there’s little chance the grinding war will come to an end anytime soon.
Lavrov claimed that the US and Russia came to an agreement on Ukraine during President Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin’s summit in Anchorage, Alaska, back in August 2025. He didn’t elaborate on the details of the potential deal, but it’s believed to involve Ukraine ceding territory it still controls in the Donbas, a condition included in a 28-point peace plan that was later drafted by the Trump administration. |

| Pentagon To Send 200 Troops to Nigeria |
| The Pentagon is sending 200 troops to Nigeria in the coming weeks to train the country’s military to fight Islamist militants, US officials told media outlets on Tuesday, as President Trump continues to deepen US involvement in the country.
A US official told The New York Times that the 200 troops will augment a small US force that has been in the country for several weeks. Gen. Dagvin Anderson, the head of US Africa Command (AFRICOM), recently confirmed that a “small team” of US troops had already deployed to Nigeria. Anderson visited Nigeria on Monday and spoke with senior Nigerian officials about deepening military cooperation. |
