This is the playbook for the almost four past months, so far:

Talk a big game about a game changing policy.

Talking heads point out ahead of time it’s going to backfire.

Implement said policy.

Policy immediately backfires in the VERY manner that talking heads predicted.

Reverse course, return to status quo, and try to save face (Nothing Ever Happens).

Endless coping ensues.

Rinse and repeat.

Now imagine this pattern going on for four whole years. Suddenly what AA is pointing here makes a whole lot more sense, now doesn’t it?? This is why the Right needs to stop coping and start DEMANDING better from its leaders. Otherwise, the movement will run out of steam – and goodwill.
