Our latest is a review of the J.D. Vance speech in Paris yesterday: “But we should be under no illusions. This is not our revolution. It is merely the latest power struggle among those who rule us. We should take advantage of the breathing space it offers. We should enjoy the temporary relief. But we should not make the mistake of believing that these men are our saviours. One does not thank a forest fire for changing direction.” https://seangabb.us13.list-manage.com/track/click?u=f3280532a5254e7197e270a3e&id=d4f2d4d3cc&e=52821aac48 Below, you'll find our other insights and analyses on a variety of topics. Before then, however, here is a begging letter that I forgot to send last year and the year before, but which I feel I should send this year. The Libertarian Alliance has probably the liveliest online presence of any libertarian organisation in Britain today. Every day, we publish new articles—political commentary, film and book reviews, and broader reflections on the world. More than that, we are easily the most radical libertarian voice in Britain. Our analysis of the police state, crippling taxation, and oppressive environmental regulations goes beyond the usual hand-wringing. We make it clear that these are not mere policy failures but symptoms of a profoundly corrupt ruling class—a ruling class that is guided by a mix of philosophical corruption and outright malice. The only real solution is a general reconstruction and radical downsizing of government—while we still have a government at all. To continue putting this message to the world, we would appreciate your help. The WordPress bill is due in the next few weeks, and we must pay £256 to keep the website running. Of course, if you look the other way, I suppose I shall have to pay it myself: I do that rather often.
