🍊⚖️Donald Trump’s first criminal trial got underway in New York City. Dozens of juror candidates were dismissed. At least 50 said they could not be impartial when judging Trump. Whether they liked or disliked  Trump, or just wanted out of jury duty was not known.
🕵🏽🌉 The Baltimore bridge collapse is now getting an official FBI criminal investigation. The focus is on just what happened on the cargo ship before it collided with the bridge.
🎥⚖️ The armourer on the set of Rust has been sentenced to 18 months in prison. Hannah Gutierrez was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter, with the judge saying “you alone turned a safe weapon into a lethal weapon”.
🇹🇿☠️ Tanzania, Rwanda and Zimbabwe have joined Nigeria, Kenya and South Africa in a recall of Johnson & Johnson JNJ.N children’s cough syrup. The move is precautionary at present, while testing on potential toxicity risks continues.

🏉 Auckland Blues forward Cameron Suafoa has stepped away from rugby to focus on treatment for cancer, after months of juggling his health issue with his sporting career.

🇦🇫 Friba Rezayee, the first woman to represent Afghanistan at the Olympics, has been appalled by the treatment of women since the resurgence of the Taliban. She is now campaigning for the country to be kept out of the Paris Games.
