New AA linocut prints to launch

A rare print will accompany three new author portraits launched on 1 April

A set of new linocuts of authors will be launched on 1 April. This continuing series is extended by not just three individual linocut prints, each numbered and signed by the artist, but by something unique to this launch. “The Men of 1914” is a special, very rare print of all three linocuts from this series and the three from the next set, all on one sheet. Pound, Yeats, Joyce, Hulme, Eliot and Lewis were six towering figures who reached a new level of maturity during the Great War; they knew each other and formed a group of Modernists who would shape literature and art for the coming century.

April will see the launch of Eliot, Lewis and Hulme, as well as “The Men of 1914”. Pound, Yeats and Joyce will be launched on 1 July. This set has been the most taxing so far and I think the results are worth it.
