Owning a vehicle is not a luxury but also a responsibility and owners must be well-versed with their vehicles for efficient and safe use. It is all the better to know vivid details about one’s vehicle and various hacks or hidden features as well. A woman @huyameishuoche shared a video on TikTok revealing such hidden features that are found in most cars. She also mentioned that these features can be used during emergencies and are great to be aware of. “99% of people don’t know about this! Hidden features in your car,” the caption read. The woman whose account is dedicated to sharing life hacks and other useful tips for general knowledge, got into the details starting with the interior mirror.
Pointing towards the bottom of the interior rearview mirror, the woman revealed that there was a button at the back of the mirror. On pressing it down, the woman revealed that one won’t have the issue of dazzling or blinding lights at night. Next, she moved to the seatbelt section and revealed that there is a more hassle-free way to adjust the seat belt to make it comfortable for the person. The woman shared that the portion above the seatbelt output can be pulled up or down manually to adjust the height of the seatbelt as per the person. For the third feature, the woman redirected everyone’s focus to the visor.
The front visors available for keeping away the sun from the front glass have an added advantage. The woman revealed that the visor has a mechanism wherein it can be easily tilted towards the side to block sunlight coming from the car’s window. For those with different heights sharing a car or worrying about having to constantly move the seat back and forth due to height differences, the next feature is for their use. The woman revealed, “There is a small wrench under the steering wheel. Press it and you can freely adjust the height of the steering wheel.” Lastly, the woman shared the most important hack for when one is stuck or locked inside a car and is unable to get out.

The only scientist to ever walk on the moon found out he was allergic to moon rocks in ironic twist
|

|
NASA has gone through a total of 14 Apollo missions between 1961 to 1972. Many know about Neil Armstrong being the first man to step foot on the Moon on July 20, 1969, through the Apollo 11 mission but people hardly talk about the last Apollo program which took a bunch of other scientists to the lunar surface. As odd as it might sound, astronaut Harrison H. Schmitt who was onboard the Apollo 17 mission realized that he got some sort of allergic reaction after his stroll on the lunar surface.
According to IFLScience, Schmitt made the startling discovery after he returned to the landing module which was still stationed on the Moon back in December 1972. Apollo 17 was the final crewed mission to the Moon’s surface before the Apollo program came to an end. Schmitt, who was a geologist, was tasked with collecting samples of rocks from around the Taurus-Littrow valley which was the landing site of their module near the Sea of Serenity.
He came in contact with lunar dust when he finally removed his safety suit inside the module. “The first time I smelled the dust I had an allergic reaction, the inside of my nose became swollen, you could hear it in my voice,” Schmitt said at the Starmus space festival in 2019, per The Telegraph. “But that gradually went away for me and by the fourth time I inhaled lunar dust I didn’t notice that.” However, Schmitt wasn’t the only astronaut who suffered from an allergic reaction to the dust they encountered on the Moon’s surface.

Man tried to enter Disney World with a 46-year-old ticket and the staff’s response left him surprised

On October 1, 1971, Disney World opened its doors for the first visitors and welcomed them to the world’s largest theme park. Since then, the park has grown significantly in size and popularity, with many fascinating add-ons like theme parks, water parks, resorts and shopping areas. In fact, it has become a dream destination for kids all over the world. Last month, a man made a surprising revelation about the theme park. Matthew Ables–who goes by @matthewables on TikTok–expressed his astonishment when his 46-year-old entry ticket was accepted at Disney World. While many knew about it already, some were as amazed about this information as Ables.
Ables is a popular content creator who finds and talks about “weird things” on the internet and in real life. In this video, he decided to check if the vintage Disney World ticket he found was valid. He began by saying that he tried entering the Disney World with a 46-year-old ticket, which was originally worth $8. “It’s been collecting dust since before I was born and I always assumed that it was just an old family keepsake till I realized that it’s never been used,” said Ables. What caught his attention was that this ticket had no expiration date, which gave him a strange idea to go ahead and test it out.
“This means I’ve either found the golden ticket here or I’m delusional thinking that the mouse is going to let me use it to get inside nearly half a century later,” said Ables. Cut to the next scene, he was flying to Orlando, Florida, where the incredibly grand theme park was situated. On reaching the park, Ables reached out to the employee at the ticket counter, saying that he had a ticket to the Magic Kingdom, which was from 1978. As the employee was checking the ticket, Ables said he felt quite nervous about their response. “She started aggressively stamping void all over the ticket booklet and then left,” said Ables and then added, “But she did come back with this yellow pass, which supposedly is good to get into the park.”
