African immigrant denounces “antiracism” campaigns

By Tom Woods

Brandon Johnson, mayor of Chicago, knows how to deflect criticisms in 2023 America.

According to Politico, “Johnson pushed back at the descriptions of him as ‘slow,’ ‘unconscionable’ and ‘overly cautious.’ They are ‘microaggressions’ that ‘perpetuate a particular view of blackness,’ said the mayor.”

Even in the “antiracist” universe, surely people can see through a response as dumb and self-serving as that.

Well, it so happens that the latest episode of the Tom Woods Show features the almost unbelievably based Wanjiru Njoya, a Kenyan immigrant to the UK who teaches at the law school at the University of Exeter.

She will have none of the DEI, “antiracism,” multicultural propaganda. She thinks it’s wrong and evil for radical South Africans to be singing “Kill the Boer,” and notes that in any other context such a vile song would be condemned rather than excused. And don’t even get her started on “hate speech.”

If you don’t enjoy this, my friends, then I do not understand my audience at all (click the image to watch):

Part two today is a quick story. My friend John Bush has an eCommerce company that sells kratom. Years ago he had to deal with the Obama Administration’s Operation Choke Point, by which the federal government would pressure banks and credit card companies not to process transactions for certain businesses, even whole industries.

John was targeted. His bank called him and said it was cutting off his ability to process transactions.

He shifted to PayPal. Then one day PayPal froze his funds because of a “suspiciously large” influx of cash. (His business did well, so he was punished.) The next day they closed his account and banned him from opening a new one.

His company was in turn banned from Stripe, Cash App, Square, and Zelle.

Bitcoin was the only thing that saved him. He was able to transact with it and continue his business. That’s partly why he feels so strongly about it.

So if you missed his beginners session on Bitcoin he’s still running a few more, so sign up and hear from a guy who’s been through the ringer:
