Mental Health Care Access

Mental health has become one of the most critical issues of our time. With the ever-increasing stress of modern life, people are finding it more challenging to cope with their mental health issues. The need for increased access to affordable and comprehensive mental health care services is more pressing than ever before.

One of the most significant obstacles to accessing mental health care services is cost. Mental health care is expensive, and many people simply cannot afford it. Even those who can afford it often find that their insurance plans do not cover the full cost of mental health care. This leaves many people with no choice but to forego much-needed mental health care services.

The lack of mental health support in schools is another critical issue. Schools are supposed to be safe spaces for children, but the lack of mental health support in schools can make it challenging for students to get the help they need. Many schools do not have counseling services, and those that do often have long waiting lists. This leaves students who are struggling with mental health issues without the support they need to succeed in school.

This is why we need to increase access to affordable and comprehensive mental health care services, including therapy, counseling, and mental health support in schools. By doing this, we can help people get the help they need to manage their mental health issues and lead healthy, fulfilling lives.

If you agree that mental health care is a critical issue that needs to be addressed, please consider signing our petition. Together, we can make a difference and help ensure that everyone has access to the mental health care services they need.

Comprehensive Immigration Reform

Immigration has been one of the most significant drivers of economic growth and cultural diversity in the United States. However, the current immigration system is broken, and it is time to advocate for comprehensive immigration reform.

The United States is a nation of immigrants, and we must continue to welcome immigrants with open arms. The current immigration system is not only outdated but also inadequate to meet the needs of our country. It is not just about people crossing the border illegally, but it is also about the millions of people who come to this country legally but still face challenges.

One of the critical issues that need to be addressed is the DACA program. The Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program was created in 2012 to protect young immigrants who were brought to the United States illegally as children. These young people have grown up in this country, and the United States is the only home they have ever known. The DACA program has provided them with temporary protection from deportation and allowed them to work legally in the United States. However, the program is currently under threat, and it is time for Congress to pass legislation that provides a permanent solution for these young people.

Sherrod Brown

Candidate for OH, US Senate, 2024

Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown has long been a champion for the working class, fighting against big pharma, Wall Street, and corporate interests in order to protect Ohioans. In 2024, Brown is once again running for Congress and is poised to continue his legacy of fighting for the people of Ohio.

Brown’s record on unions is unparalleled, earning him the nickname “the Senator from labor” for his unwavering support of workers’ rights. He has consistently fought against outsourcing and for fair wages, leading the charge on policies that would protect Ohio’s unions.

But Brown’s fight doesn’t stop there. He has also been a vocal opponent of big pharma, pushing for lower drug prices and increased access to healthcare for all Ohioans. He has called out pharmaceutical companies for their price gouging tactics and has worked tirelessly to pass legislation that would make healthcare more affordable for everyone.

And when it comes to Wall Street, Brown has been a thorn in the side of big banks and corporate interests. He has worked to hold banks accountable for their role in the 2008 financial crisis and has pushed for stronger consumer protections to prevent another crisis from happening.

As we look ahead to the election in 2024, it’s clear that Sherrod Brown is the right choice for Ohio. His record on unions, healthcare, and Wall Street make him an ideal candidate to represent the working class in Congress. Ohioans can trust that Sherrod Brown will always put their interests first and fight for policies that will make their lives better.

So let’s stand with Sherrod Brown in 2024 and make sure that Ohio’s voice is heard in Congress. Together, we can build a better future for all Ohioans.
