Geopolitics As Culture War

By Richard Heathen, The Heartland Traditionalist

In recent years America has become increasingly divided as the culture war evermore is the battle ground of domestic politics. Yet, it isn’t just domestic politics where America’s elites are championing a cultural revolution. Whether Republican or Democrat successive US administrations are advocating for an ideological agenda when it comes to foreign policy, spending billions a year to promote feminism, and the normalization of homosexuality abroad, pushing it in nations with more traditional cultures, all the while extolling the supposed virtues of parliamentary democracy. Even the allegedly “fascist” President Donald Trump launched an international campaign to decriminalize homosexuality in countries that are still holdouts [1]. Once again proving that all forms of sexual licentiousness have almost become a sacred rite and religious sacrament of the secular West.

Of course it’s not just Trump, promoting homosexuality abroad has been a central pillar of American foreign policy for quite some time. Obama announced back in 2011 that he would make the promotion of gay rights a central pillar of his foreign policy.

and of course it’s continuing to pick up pace under Biden. February 2021 the Biden Administration signed the Memorandum on Advancing the Human Rights of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Intersex Persons Around the World.

The document states that in it’s first point that it’s goal is to change the laws of other countries regarding the legal status of homosexuality. This is in keeping with the policy of Donald Trump, and Obama before him,

“Section 1.  Combating Criminalization of LGBTQI+ Status or Conduct Abroad.  Agencies engaged abroad are directed to strengthen existing efforts to combat the criminalization by foreign governments of LGBTQI+ status or conduct and expand efforts to combat discrimination, homophobia, transphobia, and intolerance on the basis of LGBTQI+ status or conduct” [2]
