“These hate crimes are mostly being committed by black young males against Asian seniors. it doesn’t fit the narrative of white racists committing hate crimes against people of color, so it goes mostly ignored. Instead it’s black racists. But many of you say there can’t be such a thing as a black racist. Yes, there can and there are many. Racism knows no color.
This is happening in the most liberal city in America. Gavin Newsom was once the mayor, he’s now governor. Nancy Pelosi is their rep. Kamala Harris was their senator. So what now? Who do we blame?
Happy people don’t commit hate crimes. Happy people don’t cause 2 billion dollars of damage in the various riots across the country. Happy people don’t storm the Capitol. This isn’t about race or white supremacy or QAnon. This is about an unhappy country led by politicians in the pockets their big money donors. This is what a corrupt government creates, a failed state filled with despair and hate. The division between us is the tool they use to distract us from the fact that they themselves, the rich and the politicians the rich have bought, caused this problem.”

The videos are graphic and shocking.
In January, a local television station showed footage of a young man sprinting toward, then violently shoving to the ground, a man identified as Vicha Ratanapakdee, 84, who had been out for a morning walk in the Anza Vista neighborhood of San Francisco. He later died.
Another video shows a 91-year-old man in Oakland’s Chinatown neighborhood being pushed facedown into the sidewalk cement from behind in an apparently unprovoked attack.
The attacks quickly reinvigorated simmering outrage, fear and hurt over a wave of anti-Asian violence and harassment that community leaders say was spurred earlier in the pandemic by the rhetoric of former President Donald J. Trump, who insisted on calling the coronavirus “the China virus” or the “Kung Flu.”
