Except that it was the biased MSM that put Trump into the Republican candidacy in 2016. By March 2016, the MSM admitted that they had given Trump $2 billion in free publicity. And that figure had probably increased to $3 billion by the time of the election.

They were trying to get the Republicans to select Trump, and in THAT they certainly succeeded. But, they were also trying to get the Republicans to choose the candidate they thought was most defeatable. But “most defeatable” and “defeatable” are two different things.
SO, I blame the MSM and the Democrats for the fact that Trump was elected.
