Ron Paul Liberty Report
A redacted assessment of the situation in Iraq and Syria has provided “some confirmation” of suspicions regarding the U.S. government’s support of moderate rebels in the region and its intentions in the conflict, according to Ron Paul.
In the latest episode of the Ron Paul Liberty Report, the three-time presidential candidate and former congressman from Texas raised concerns about the information within the Defense Intelligence Agency’s 2012 report, which was recently made public through a lawsuit by Judicial Watch.
The assessment—which included “dire consequences” for intervention that have come to fruition, such as the creation and rise of ISIS—was ignored. “I don’t think the person that depends on regular TV has heard much about this,” Paul said. “As a matter of fact, it looks like a deliberate exclusion.”
