By: Mike Maharrey , Tenth Amendment Center COLUMBIA, S.C. (Dec. 16, 2020) – Two bills introduced in the South Carolina House would ban the enforcement of any federal mask mandate and prohibit the state from taking any federal funding connected to a federal mask or vaccine mandate. Passage […]
If this stands, look for the anarchist circle A symbol to eventually be banned as a hate symbol. By Robby Soave, Reason New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, a Democrat, signed legislation on Tuesday prohibiting the sale of Confederate flags on public property, including at state and local fairs. […]
What this speaker in this video is describing sounds fairly accurate in the sense of merely recognizing prevailing trends. What’s going on now is a repeat of what happened in the Industrial Revolution with unprecedented technological expansion and the emergence of elites with unprecedented wealth, combined with the […]
The actual leadership (ownership) of the Republican Party (American ARENA/American Likudniks) is actually to the right of both New York liberal Trump and the know-nothing populist “basis.”
Fracture, fracture, fracture…

The most dangerous form of rhetorical excess in US politics is not the standard hate rhetoric between Red/Blue tribal loyalists but the enmity that is directed toward two backwater but nuclear-armed provinces in global capitalism, Russia and China, and a nation that is actually under siege by the […]
This article combines some of the usual right-wing howlers (like the Democrats and Antifa being on the same team, or the mayors of New York and Seattle being anarchists) with some actual insights, like the relationship between big tech and the rising sectors of the capitalist class and […]
A pretty good assessment of the partisan/tribal “civil war” from Williamson, proving that even a neocon mouthpiece can be right twice a day. By Kevin Williamson, National Review In an interview with Jake Tapper on CNN, Bill Gates said he expects that there will be an ugly wave of […]
This is hilarious. The best thing about Trump is that he is a chaos agent who has more or less left the Republican Party in shambles. Now we need a Democratic Trump.
Excellent. Now if we could only have a Democratic civil war.
Hardly surprising. Krystal Ball and Saagar Enjeti discuss whether Edward Snowden should be pardoned by President Trump. They also weigh in on John Brennan and James Clappers’ opinions on the issue.
Believe it or not, I’ve actually seen left-anarchists rushing to defend Dr. Jill on this one because apparently nothing is more anarchist than fealty to the queen. Maybe it means the anarcho-left now recognizes anarcho-monarchism as a legitimate form of anarchism.
I don’t care the first thing about this issue, but apparently, it’s causing a lot of drama among the leftoids. I’ve seen prominent left-anarchists attacking Dore for being mean to AOC. Krystal Ball weighs in on the debate over Jimmy Dore’s statements on how to force a vote […]
By Matthew Crawford, Unherd The HBO series Succession depicts the dynastic dramas of a family-controlled media company, headed by patriarch Logan Roy in a spirit of vigorous tyranny. This clan is ultra-rich and totally amoral. One of the sons, the dissolute and aptly named Roman (played by Kieran […]
I generally favor abortion rights and oppose capital punishment, both of which are positions I hold on anti-statist grounds, but this is funny as hell. Babylon Bee U.S.—According to ultrasound technicians around the country, unborn babies are disguising themselves as death row inmates so that liberals will defend […]
American partisanship and “culture war” psychology actually have very little to do with 20th century European and Asian totalitarianism, which has never had more than very marginal influence in the US, and everything to do with historic American traditions. The Red Tribe/Blue Tribe battle is reminiscent of conflicts […]
This article reads almost like a liberal-left version of the traditional conservative view that “freedom is a means to virtue.” By Umair Haque By now, you might have heard North Dakota is the world’s worst Covid hotspot. The world’s worst, with South Dakota not far behind. Things aren’t […]
This is an interesting comment from Dreher. It is interesting how the different sides view themselves as merely defending their own right to go about their business and not bother anyone, and not be oppressed by (pick one) government, corporations, racists, leftists, fascists, cops, do-gooders, etc. If I […]
Of all the idiotic hills to die on. By Jessica Corbett, Common Dreams At least four people were stabbed Saturday as supporters of President Donald Trump, including maskless Proud Boys in helmets and bulletproof vests, descended on the nation’s capital and clashed with counterprotesters — violence that some […]
Contrary to the claims that the “Stop the Steal” crowd are agitating for a fascist revolution, in reality, they see themselves as defenders of liberal democracy and the American constitutional tradition, however stupidly they may be going about it. At their worst, they are solely within the American […]
And the ruling class is really taking this seriously as evidenced by one federal judge after another laughing Trump’s lawsuits out of court. By Jeremy Pelzer, Cleveland.Com COLUMBUS, Ohio — A prominent Ohio tea party leader has taken out a full-page ad in the Washington Times calling on […]
Tulsi has introduced a couple of pieces of legislation that seem to be overtures to the right. Is she planning on running again in 2024 as a left/right crossover Democrat, or as Independent, or even switching parties? By Sam Dorman, FOX News Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, D-Hawaii, is facing […]

By Peter R. Quinones One would think it’s just a given that when the government or one of their cut-outs is pushing to do something that will harm the individual, you don’t support them in any way, shape or form. Dave Smith paraphrased Daniel McAdams on a recent […]
As I have said many times, the function of the Supreme Court is to arbitrate public controversies for the purpose of formulating a position that reflects the dominant consensus of the power elite and “educated classes.” Leftists and rightists who get so worked up over Supreme Court nominees […]
By Chris Hedges, Mintpress News Princeton, New Jersey (Scheerpost) — Liberals who express dismay, or more bizarrely a fevered hope, about the corporatists and imperialists selected to fill the positions in the Biden administration are the court jesters of our political burlesque. They long ago sold their soul […]
Cuomo’s incompetence is a good reason for him to be Attorney General. The last thing we should want is an effective government.
This pretty funny in place. Saagar Enjeti gives his reaction to the Supreme Court’s decision not to take up the Trump campaign’s lawsuit challenging the election results in Texas.
The game of rotating asshole-in-chief. Krystal Ball compares some of Joe Biden’s recent statements and style to Donald Trump’s.
Well, the neocons do have their roots in Trotskyism and social democracy. They appear to be concerned that the Republicans have become irretrievably Trumpist and have decided to look leftward. Who needs sports, comedy, soap operas, or pro wrestling when you’ve got this stuff. Journalist, Zaid Jilani, weighs […]
I spent the last four years mocking the Left’s hysteria over Trump’s alleged “fascism.” Now, I will get to spend the next few years mocking Biden’s alleged “communism.” Krystal Ball and Saagar Enjeti weigh in on a potential challenge in the house to reverse Joe Biden’s victory, the […]
The Democraps had their meltdown moment in 2016. Now the Repugnicans get their turn. What was most interesting about the recent election is that the two ruling class parties and their house media managed to convince millions of Americans that a contest between what amounts to two moderate […]
By Rod Dreher, The American Conservative For my sins, I guess, I watched all six hours of the Jericho March proceedings from Washington today, on the march webcast. I say for my sins, but in truth, I decided to watch it because I am interested in what the […]

By Cathy Reisenwitz I intended to write a very short history of pornography censorship and obscenity in the US. As I mentioned in Why you can’t flash yo titties on Zoom, I’ve been mildly obsessed with pornography censorship ever since I tried (and failed) to find consensual non-consent […]
I see two separate issues here. On one hand, I don’t think anyone has a human right or civil right to have their sports leagues funded by the federal government, particularly considering that both sports and education are crony-capitalist/state-capitalist institutions as much as anything. As I said elsewhere […]
I have a number of leftist friends who have been offended when I have referred to her as a ditz. But if the shoe fits…Ironically, I know rightists who think I am too soft on her. By Eliza Relman, Business Insider Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez accused Republicans of effectively […]
According to Zeihan, Democrats greatly improved their performance among the military, business interests, and fiscal conservatives, while the Republicans improved their performance among labor unions and Hispanics. If Obama was George McGovern’s revenge, can we say that Trump is Ross Perot’s and Pat Buchanan’s revenge? He also estimates […]
By CJ Hopkins, Consent Factory All right, that’s it. I’ve run out of patience. No more excuses. Where’s the Hitler? Yes, you heard me. I’m talking to you. An interesting aspect of the pandemic has been the way so many left-leaning anarchists and libertarians have uncritically embraced the proclamations of “experts,” apparently forgetting the Frankfurt School critique of scientism and the Foucauldian critique of the therapeutic state. And many right-leaning libertarians have become all-purposes contrarians. By […]
The power of Big Tech has made traditional governmental censorship almost obsolete. By Matt Taibbi Start with the headline: Supporting the 2020 U.S. Election. The Democrats are hoping they can exploit ongoing cultural, generation, and demographic change by presenting themselves as the part of “diversity and inclusion” against the party of the “deplorables,” but that’s not going to be good enough when we are moving toward a Latin American class system. As a proud worst person, Krystal and Saager will sometimes do a segment that reminds me of how lame their respective social democratic and civic nationalist politics actually are. Krystal Ball and Saagar Enjeti discuss Mehdi Hasan’s Rush Limbaugh appearance.
