| Keith,
A group of 15 anti-ICE activists were just sentenced to a combined 556 years in jail for their alleged roles in a protest outside an ICE detention center in Prairieland, Texas.1,2
According to the Trump regime, these activists were part of a sinister antifa terrorist plot against the U.S. government.
The truth is that they are the very first victims of NSPM-7, the notorious Trump directive ordering federal law enforcement to target progressive activists as domestic terrorists.3
Donald Trump is now asking Congress for a massive increase in funding for NSPM-7 enforcement, and we’re mobilizing tens of thousands of people to stop him.4

The case against the Prairieland anti-ICE protesters is a grotesque miscarriage of justice and sends a chilling message to anyone who might dare to speak out against Trump’s authoritarianism.
Some of those convicted got 50 years for little more than wearing all-black clothing to the protest. Another who wasn’t even at the protest was sentenced to 30 years for merely moving a box containing leftist literature.5
Last week, eight of the protesters were handed sentences of 30, 50, and 100 years in jail. Today, seven more sentences were handed down, including sentences of 50 years, 15 years, and 9 years.6
Similar prosecutions are already underway under NSPM-7, which orders federal law enforcement to investigate organizations for “domestic terrorism” if they espouse such vaguely defined political views as “anti-capitalism” or “extremism on migration, race, and gender.”7
NSPM-7 must be stopped, and we’re counting on your help to ramp up our campaign to block any new funding for Trump’s war on left-wing speech.

Thanks for taking action,
