TRUMP VOWS TO BOMB IRAN ‘BACK TO THE STONE AGE’  President Donald Trump and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian issued rival appeals to Americans yesterday. Trump defended the war effort and vowed to bomb Iran “back to the Stone Age” in the next two to three weeks. Pezeshkian questioned whether the war serves American interests. Also yesterday, several world leaders addressed their countries about the instability and economic tribulations the world now faces as a result of the war.  READ
HEAD OF US BISHOPS JOINS POPE IN CALLING FOR CEASEFIRE  Archbishop Paul Coakley, president of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, issued a statement yesterday echoing appeals by Pope Leo XIV for a ceasefire and quoting the Holy Father’s message that no one can use Jesus, King of Peace, to justify war.  READ
COLORADO BILL THREATENS PARENTS WHO REJECT GENDER IDEOLOGY  A recently introduced Colorado bill that has drawn sharp criticism from the state’s Catholic bishops could allow courts to factor a parent’s refusal to affirm a child’s “gender identity” into custody decisions.  READ

DOJ SUES MINNESOTA FOR ALLOWING MALES IN GIRLS’ SPORTS  The U.S. Department of Justice filed a lawsuit against Minnesota March 30, alleging the state has discriminated against female athletes by allowing boys to compete in girls’ sports and access girls’ locker rooms and bathrooms. The suit argues the policies violate Title IX by failing to maintain sex-based protections in athletics and intimate spaces.  READ
JD VANCE TO RELEASE CATHOLIC CONVERSION MEMOIR  Vice President JD Vance will release a new book this June detailing his return to the Christian faith and entry into the Catholic Church after years as an atheist. NORTH CAROLINA ABORTION FACILITY CLOSING  An abortion facility in Greensboro, North Carolina, stopped providing abortions March 31 and is set to close at the end of April after a decade in operation.
