Gerrymandering of congressional districts in Missouri and other
right-wing states results in loss of minority legislative representation.
Disenfranchisement of Latinx communities includes fear-driven
disengagement from schools, work, and local government which
pushes people out of the two party system.   Black voters are
viewed as a monolith – a guaranteed vote for Democrats, which
results in no real effort to address needs of the Black working
class.  Muslim leaders must face prejudicial portrayal of them as
violent extremists, misogynists, and haters of American values.
