Trump just endorsed ethnic cleansing in Gaza

While legacy outlets stay silent or run interference, we continue exposing the crimes

Dec 30

Yesterday, President Trump met with Benjamin Netanyahu and openly endorsed the forced displacement of Palestinians from Gaza. He called it “voluntary” even as Israel enforces a medical siege, blocks food and fuel, and leaves children dying of hypothermia in flooded tents.

“More than half of Gaza will leave if given the opportunity,” Trump claimed, suggesting Palestinians would choose to abandon their homeland for “a better climate.” He praised Israel for “living up to the [ceasefire] plan 100 percent” even as authorities have documented 969 Israeli violations over 80 days, including 418 Palestinians killed and 1,141 wounded since the so-called “ceasefire” began.

Mainstream media has largely ignored this monumental moment: a US president openly supporting ethnic cleansing while Israel weaponizes humanitarian deprivation to force migration.

Drop Site will keep exposing the crimes. But this work only continues if readers like you fund it. Will you make a tax-deductible donation right now to power this work?

DONATE TODAY – SUPPORT DROP SITE

While legacy outlets stay silent or run interference, we continue publishing the facts Israel doesn’t want told and amplifying the voices they want silenced. And we’re paying the price for it.

Israeli officials attack us. Governments ban us. The most fanatical Israel loyalists are now calling for Drop Site’s prosecution simply because we publish the facts and give voice to people they want silenced. A lawsuit is targeting our accurate reporting, designed to silence our journalism.

These are clear attempts to erode free speech, a free press, and due process in the US on behalf of a foreign country. While pro-Israel outlets are showered with corporate backing, an American news outlet exposing the truth of Israel’s genocide is being systematically targeted.

As attacks on our journalism intensify, reader support is what makes us impossible to silence. Can you make a tax-deductible donation today to show them we’re not backing down?

MAKE A TAX-DEDUCTIBLE DONATION TODAY

When we started Drop Site, we made a commitment to expose the crimes of the powerful and hold them accountable no matter the consequences. We knew we’d be targeted. We also knew reader support would be the only thing allowing us to survive it.

And you’ve proven that model works.

In just 18 months, Drop Site has grown to over 500,000 subscribers and 14,800 paying members, with more than 12 million people reading our work each month. We’ve published over 330 investigations that have driven real impact. Our reporting led Microsoft to block the IDF from using its tech for mass surveillance of Palestinians. Our investigations into Israeli war crimes are being used by international human rights organizations and legal authorities in future prosecutions. When Trump halted U.S. bombing of Yemen, he cited a Houthi offer that Drop Site first reported.

Our Gaza Journalist Fund raised over $315,000 to support 89 Palestinian colleagues documenting the genocide on the ground. When a BBC editor filed a lawsuit over our investigation into the BBC’s Gaza coverage, over 4,000 of you contributed more than $250,000 to defend our reporting.

As attacks intensify and 2026 demands even more from us, will you make a tax-deductible donation to ensure we have the resources to keep exposing what they want hidden?
