Treason & Treachery. Left Syria dysfunctional, destabilized, and in a worse place than they were prior to the coup. Refuge crisis, sectarian violence, ongoing civil war. Not Functional. Israel benefited from this covert regime change operation. No nation building or liberation. Christians, Druze, Alawites, are being beheaded, tyrannized, and persecuted viciously. We effectively cut off Iran’s access to their proxy in southern Lebanon (Hezbollah). This was a treasonous war outside of our interest (i.e., why it had to be “covert”). This was a war for the national security of Israel. Which is actually what our foreign policy is all about in the first place, since the 80’s.
