Etan Mabourakh is the Organizing Manager at the National Iranian American Council NIAC, overseeing a nationwide network in all 50 states and 15 chapters, building Iranian American leadership and empowering volunteers to engage lawmakers and strengthen community. In 2024, he led both NIAC’s New York & Massachusetts chapters in mobilizing 95+ groups in each state to urge Senators to oppose offensive U.S. arms sales to Israel, and is expanding grassroots chapters across the country in 2025. In 2025, Etan was quoted by The Guardian and Al Jazeera for his advocacy on Yemen, calling for a war powers resolution. He’s been featured on Breaking Points, quoted in Middle East Eye, and has consulted on NY State Senate, Mayor, Borough President, and City Council campaigns.
