Last week, 15 U.S. Senators voted to block another $8.8 billion arms sale to Israel.¹ Though the effort failed, Sen. Kaine took a courageous stand and voted in favor of peace, justice, and saving Palestinian lives from the Israeli army’s senseless, murderous onslaught.

Trump met with Netanyahu at the White House earlier this week, and the American government’s support for Israel’s war on Gaza remains as strong as ever. It’s important that we show Sen. Kaine our support for this vote to stop U.S. support for Israel’s killing of Palestinians.

Shortly after a large majority of Senators voted to continue backing the destruction of Gaza, video revealed that the Israeli army killed 15 aid workers in late March.² This is what the U.S. government is backing when it sends billions in funding and arms to Netanyahu.

The U.S. government has supported Netanyahu’s onslaught every step of the way. Senators who voted last week to stop another giant arms shipment made the moral choice and we need to show them we support their stand.
