NYT says: Trump lying about South Africa

By Tom Woods

Next week on the Tom Woods Show I’ll devote an episode to the true situation, and true recent history, of South Africa.

That country is back in the news in the United States because Donald Trump has criticized its treatment of white farmers.

The New York Times accused the president of making claims “without evidence” — a phrase the paper never once used when reporting on the 100% truth-telling Joe Biden and Barack Obama.

But if you keep reading the Times article, you find a few interesting things.

The paper concedes the existence of “a policy that President Cyril Ramaphosa of South Africa signed into law last month.”

Now what might that be all about?

Well, it happens to be called the Expropriation Bill. (Only a conspiracy theorist would be concerned about that!)

According to the Times itself, the bill “allows the government in certain instances to acquire privately held land in the public interest without paying compensation.”

And because whites have more land, supporters of the bill describe it as “a necessary means of redressing historical injustice.”

Alrighty, then.

When your government starts doing things like that — and especially when the New York Times assures everyone that everything is fine — it’s long past time to get your international Plan B in order.

In fact, by far the best time to do that is well before you even think you need one.

Check out the presentation Mikkel Thorup did with me on the subject; you’ll find it fascinating and it will surely help you:
