Is national anarchism, an anarchism ?
This depends on your definition of the word anarchism. We come in the domain of language here, and there is confusion around language.
My anarchism, my definition of anarchism, is a Tuckerite anarchism. So, anarchism is the idea that all social relations should be voluntary.
In a way, the modern libertarians like Rothbard built on this fundamental principle.
So, in this tradition, racial identitarians could come together and form their ‘whites only’ thing.
But I strongly dislike national anarchism. I don’t see what I brought to anarchism. The same goes for the radical ‘black power’ people in anarchism, who dislike white people for being white.
In my language, nation sort of means the same like the state. So, that makes national anarchism a silly word. It sounds like ‘state anarchism’. A nation is always a state, isn’t it?
And then they say, no, a nation is an ethnic minority, bound by tradition and race, or something like
I studied anarchism, from Proudhon to Kropotkin, and never was ‘race’ or ‘ethnicity’ a topic. I don’t see why you should bring it up.
Anarchism was always the same as Marxism, and it was about topics like class, economy, geography, order, disorder, struggle, power elite theory, etc. I never read any anarchist write about the color of someone’s skin.
Anarchism was about getting rid of the state and creating a different social order and economy. This could be done by men and women, blacks and whites, Koreans and Italians, gays and straights, Christians and Muslims.
Why bring up silly identarian issues? The only thing it does is divide the people. From an anarchist lens, a white and black worker are in the same position. So, it’s logical for them to work together so they can help each other against the state and the bosses. But then national anarchism comes and says: it is better if you don’t work together because you have a different ‘race’. This would sabotage the whole process towards anarchism. A woke person, by the way, does the same. The woke says: don’t work together with white people when you’re black, because they want to oppress you, because that’s what they automatically do.
Woke anarchism, what I call pop anarchism, and concepts like this national anarchism make millions of people not want to associate with anarchism anymore. It’s too extreme and too strange. After the 20th century, anarchism became a niche. All kinds of silly theories infected it. The Marxists turned anarchism into a woke monstrosity, and the fascists turned it into a racist abomination with their national anarchism nonsense.
Let’s put a white power symbol in the already controversial black star of anarchism so we can alienate 99,99999 percent of the population and scare away every anarchist whose skin is a little bit darker than ours. Good idea? Or a stupid idea?
The people who think in terms of ‘race’ want a totalitarian state. And ‘race’ is not a useful concept in anarchist theory, so why would you create a nationalist anarchist movement? To make sure that nobody wants to be part of your movement?
Will anarchism ever find itself again? Stand on its own feet again?

Troy Southgate was the main individual who popularized the idea of national-anarchism. This is an extensive interview he did a few months back. Readers may find it interesting. https://flintandsteel.substack.com/p/dodcast-64-troy-southgate-and-adam
When i read about Southgate, i don’t see whats the anarchism in his view. I don’t see why he would be relevant for anarchism. Its just all fascism, what i see in his work
And national anarchism isn’t that popular. You never hear from it. In this country you sometimes hear from communist anarchists, and sometimes you hear from libertarians. But nobody ever hears anything about ‘national anarchists’. Maybe there are three national anarchists in this country
His other essay on disillusionment was excellent. These movements have been co-opted, probably using some of the strategies outlined in a book like “Beyond Bullets” by Jules Boykoff. They’re a joke full of people who, had they done their reading homework instead of hitting bongs, would not have allowed such nonsense to take root.

Good point
Its very easy for the bosses, and for the state. How do we tackle a uprising syndicalist movement?
Just make sure they put a white power symbol on that red/black star
Than nobody wants to be part of it anymore
So national anarchism ruins the classical anarchism/syndicalism
